It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our friend and long-time CBIRT employee Carolyn Saraceno.
Carolyn began her work with CBIRT as a research participant after she sustained a brain injury. For many years she authored an online column sharing her experiences related to her recovery. Carolyn continued to share her personal journey as a valuable member of the Brain Injury Council of Oregon. The challenges Carolyn faced getting the services she needed after her brain injury were instrumental in documenting the need for Resource Facilitation for survivors of brain injury in Oregon.
