Release 0.4.0 of condensation brings full support for Windows, a new helper in concat , a bigger test suite and some code restructuring.
What started as a utility script some 6 months ago has grown into a framework that turns CloudFormation templates into distributions that can share and re-use their modular parts (particles). Each distribution is able to contain any number of templates and assets that bring structure to advanced CloudFormation projects.
Take, for instance, the announcement that CloudFormation can deploy Lambda functions by referencing code that resides in a S3 bucket. With condensation the lambda code can be tracked and deployed as an asset along side the rest of the formation templates. The project can be packaged as a distribution and deployed as such.
