Qualifications: Secondary / Primary School Teacher Jobs
A recognised and accredited degree and state government education department registration is required. In Victoria, CRTs are required to be registered with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT). A criminal record check and Working with Children check is mandatory. A teacher’s subject teaching methodology is not of major emphasis for relief teaching. Experience and teaching disciplines are taken into consideration for contract and long term employment, usually in the secondary school sector.
