Castleward Spencer Academy opened in September 2021 as part of Derby City Council’s development plan for education in the Castleward area of Derby. This is part of a local regeneration plan. It caters chiefly for the educational needs of the children from the new homes being built in the area and will strive to be central to community development.
The academy is part of the Spencer Academies Trust, a high performing regional MAT with a national reputation for excellence.
