Built by the citizens of Tallahassee and Leon County, Cascades Park offers 24-acres of outdoor and recreational amenities, including miles of multi-use trails, a state-of-the-art amphitheater, an interactive fountain, children’s playscape and numerous historical points of interest.
Once an abandoned brownfield, Cascades is now the pride of Tallahassee and a major driver of economic growth.
This decades-long transformation was made possible by the visionary efforts of Blueprint2000 – the intergovernmental agency that spearheaded the revitalization of Cascades Park starting in the early 2000’s – followed by years of collaboration and support from public and private partners, including the City of Tallahassee, Leon County, the Leon County Division of Tourism/Visit Tallahassee, KCCI, corporate donors and engaged citizens.
