Two multimillion pound, globally trading companies moved from Fraserburgh to Ellon because they were struggling to attract the skilled staff they required. Powerjacks and Brewdog both originated in and operated in Fraserburgh for many years before making the decision to relocate only 25 miles closer to Aberdeen. If there was a railway connection then the area would not have felt so isolated as it currently does and attracting skilled people from afar to work in the area would have been much easier. Connecti
