I am a senior researcher leading Interactive Media Technolgy research at the Digital Media and Communications department at Vicomtech. Before, I was Research Scientist at IBM Research in Ireland from 2018 to 2020 and a Postdoctoral researcher in the Distributed and Multimedia Systems group at CWI in Amsterdam from 2014 to 2018. We have published a new paper in the IEEE Access–a new open access journal from IEEE–analyzing and simulating mobility traces of firefighters during wildfires. This work is complemented with a set of GPS traces and some of the code used to analyze them.
