Burbage Heritage Group was started in December 2000 to promote an appreciation of the history, architecture, landscape and wildlife in Burbage village and parish. We aim to encourage interest in the heritage of the community through a regular programme of meetings and parish walks.

We form part of the Heritage Watch Community Project from Leicestershire Museums, Arts and Records Service, supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund.

The group meet on the first Thursday of each month at the Congregational Church, Church Street, Burbage, where we have guest speakers and discuss projects. We hold an annual exhibition containing displays from our recent projects and exhibits created by other local groups.
