The Native Plant Garden was this year's beneficiary of the proceeds from the Chili Cook-off--and see what we did with the money. A new curtain drain directs rainwater underground to the rain garden. The drain should help that field be less soggy. It's great to give back to our generous Hansville community.
Trillium ovatum , Western trillium, needs conditions of light to dappled shade and a moist, but well-drained, humus-rich soil to thrive.
