Log In BRUNTINGTHORPE VILLAGE HALL
A quiet place in the countryside
We are a small community 11 miles south of Leicester and 5 miles from Market Harborough and Lutterworth. Early records report Bruntingthorpe as being given to a Norman lord as a reward for winning the battles against the English around 1066. The original village was sited close to St Mary's Church but was depopulated in the Middle Ages by the Plague. The Village Hall was once the village school.
