The Trustees have received a great deal of enthusiastic feedback on the Charpentier workshop on May 13th. Our thanks are due to everyone who contributed to this event.

After the resounding success of this workshop and the 2019 and 2022 Festivals, exciting plans are already in hand for 2024. Featuring music from the Medieval period, the Renaissance and the Baroque, there will again be participatory workshops for both singers and players, including for the first time a workshop for harpsichordists and for pianists interested in exploring the harpsichord.

The weekend programme will also include talks, the very popular exhibition of early instruments, and headline concert performances by leading names in the world of early music, including the Gesualdo 6 and the Rose Consort of Viols. Please put May 10-12th in your diary and keep your eye on the website for further details.
