About the Editor: simon strikeback lives in Toronto. His past projects include the film Riot Acts: Flaunting Gender Deviance in Music Performance and the band Actor Slash Model. His current music project is called mac & strikeback, and he is working on his PhD dissertation in a queer history of non-violent direct action in the early U.S. Civil Rights movement.
