The Department of Community and Economic Development is involved with several initiatives that are all about having fun. The Department produces events, such as Imagine Hagerstown; it manages the Arts & Entertainment District and the Historic City Farmer's Market; oversees reservations of University Plaza; promotes downtown dining; and facilitates outside organizers in implementing special events.
