We have been ringing hundreds of birds of different species in the last years.
We have used metallic rings starting with one capital letter followed by five figures (e.g B00301). In the small rings used for passerines, it is also written “Tirana Albania”, whereas in the large rings used for large birds it is also written “A.B.C”.
