The Canadian Bioeconomy Conference and Exhibition is one of the largest and longest-running events of its kind in Canada. First held in Prince George in 2004, the conference began with a focus on bioenergy and the growing wood pellet sector in north-central British Columbia. Since then, it has grown to cover the entire value chain of forest-based bioproducts – from the sustainable management of forests through to energy, wood products, bio-based chemicals.
