The development arm of our company is Little Indie, a WGA signatory. We look for feature projects that are “big indies;” well-crafted screenplays with carefully chosen ATL and BTL talent. We are genre agnostic and we place great emphasis on storytelling that is told from a strong and unique perspective. We look for new voices and furthering the visibility of communities we don’t see represented enough in media today.
Big Indie co-produces and provides production services for a range of budgets up to and beyond $100mil, including low-budget independent projects. We create and manage the single purpose entities and setup the infrastructure for each production, including: union and guild signatory, payroll and ACA setup, and sexual harassment training, among many others. With a full finance department, we provide oversight on our projects for “run of show.” Our services vary per project but can include: A/R, A/P, cost reporting, tax credit filing, and audit preparation. Our in house post accounting team continues to manage reporting and spending throughout post-production and until final delivery.
