Get a place in the country where you can hear yourself breathe. Take a hike. Go swimming. Sit around the fire, eat something from the garden, tell stories. Wake up to birdsong.
Problem is it can be hard - hard to afford, hard to reach, and hard to take care of. If the point is to simplify (and it is), the answer shouldn't involve more work, more expense, more isolation, more driving.
