Gifts should always take a little thought. This may seem obvious but I was famous for getting gifts at the last minute. Whether it was Christmas shopping, birthdays or anniversaries I would be the one running out to the local pharmacy the day before or even the day of the event trying to get whatever gifts were available. If you think that was bad there was sometimes a fifty/fifty chance it might not get wrapped.
So why would someone like me start a site dedicated to getting the best gifts you can possibly get for every occasion? The answer is simple. The above described me about ten to fifteen years ago. As I have gotten older I have realized how important giving the right gift is and the messages that lack of thought and planning send to your loved ones.
Presents don't always have to be given on a specific occasion. No one can argue with the great feeling you get when someone opens up a gift that you have given them and their face lights up with joy. For the most part people expect to receive presents on certain occasions, like Christmas, Valentine's Day and Birthdays but personal gifts given for unique reasons are sometimes cherished the most.
