Welcome to Bergmann Marine! Bergmann Marine is a family-owned and operated marine sales, service and storage facility. Family traditions in the business run three generations deep. Owners Doug, Charles and Douglas all developed an appreciation for the marine industry and boating in their youth. Doug and Charles grew-up building and refurbishing boats with their father "Ted" and Jim Bellinger at a time when boats were wood, spars were varnished, and a triple cockpit thundering down the lake was faster than
Douglas, a third-generation boat enthusiast, joined the ranks as a toddler hanging around "the shop" and "the yard". Learning how to run a boat behind the wheel of a 26' Hacker and tune-up a flat head Chris Craft by ear followed in close succession learning how to ride a bike. Combining the firsthand knowledge gained during his youth with more modern techniques in the industry, Douglas has had the rare experience of bringing the Bergmann Marine family service legacy to boaters of the next generation.
