The band BEEFUS ("Madison's Merry Pranksters" -- Madison Isthmus) has been bringing their bizarro sounds and stage antics to stages in Madison, WI and the Midwest since 2007. More anti-rock than rock, with smatterings of mutated jazz, peculiar percussion, and anthems to meat, body horror, and eldritch squid, BEEFUS subverts the party paradigm, invokes the Gluttonous Squid, attaches the Pleasure Pad, and makes you wonder if the Brain Drain has already happened...
