The Bedford Fire Department is accepting applications for the Recruit class of the 2023 - 2024 school year. Our Recruit Program offers local students ages 15 to 17 the chance to learn first hand about emergency response, and to train as a firefighter, EMT, or both, alongside Bedford’s first responders.

On Sunday, March 5th in the afternoon, the members of the Bedford Fire Department lowered the flag at 34 Village Green, which until that day had been the Department’s first and only firehouse.
