Hi! I’m Bart Kristel, a 21-year-old game development student from the Netherlands. I believe Game Development is not about the quality of your code and more about the mindset you have towards developing. If all you want is to make money and you don’t care about the people playing the game or the process behind it you will make an average game at best. To bring your games to the next level you have to trust in your developers, your players and yourself.
I’ve been interested in making games ever since I was little. The first game I played was age of empires where instead of defeating my enemy I tried to create entire cities and infrastructures. The very first game I made was during middle school. I followed a computer class where 1 assignment was to make a game. I tried making a roguelike 2D game with as the final boss our principal.
