Megan has always had a role working with children and families. Prior to becoming a doula she earned two degrees in Early Childhood Education, a B.S from Lesley College and an M.Ed. from Rhode Island College. Her role as a teacher gave her the opportunity to see children and families growing together from an early stage in life. It was because of her level of comfort and professionalism with families that her transition from teacher to doula was very natural.
Her professional doula career began after she completed her first doula training in 2012. She was immediately humbled and honored to support families as they experienced such a remarkable life transition. Megan then expanded her services to include overnight postpartum doula care. As her knowledge base grew, so did the positive and glowing feedback she received.
