The Baralaba Hotel was originally licenced in 1929 as McLellans Hotel – it’s been a centrepoint of the town ever since. The Baralaba Bash started in 2022. The Baralaba Bash started as a way for the local community to come together and enjoy a night of live music. This years Baralaba Bash has grown and is going to be even bigger and better and we can’t wait to show you what our small town has to offer!
Baralaba is located in the Shire of Banana, Central Queensland on the beautiful Dawson River. With a population with just over 300 residents, Baralaba is 1 hour 40 minutes drive West of Rockhampton and 7 hours North-West of Brisbane. The Rockhampton Airport is the closest main airport.
