Join the women of Babalon Salon to learn about Hilma af Klint (1862-1944) a Swedish artist and pioneer of abstract art. Hilma af Klint's interest in the occult and spiritualism played a significant role in shaping her artistic practice. Her exploration of esoteric philosophies and mystical beliefs deeply influenced the themes, symbols, and concepts present in her abstract paintings.
Bring paper, pens, paint, instruments, etc. of your choice for participation in the creative portion of the event. All mediums are welcome, sharing your work is welcome but not required. This is a women’s event only, all women are welcome.
