The 2020/2021 COVID-19 lockdown introduced online schooling which was non inclusive and left out students with visual impairment in Uganda. To help promote inclusive education for the blind, Uganda Aeronautical Information Services Officers Association has organised the 2022 Aviation run to raise proceeds to procure Resources, Tools and Technology to promote an inclusive education environment for children with visual impairment in Uganda.
