As Alan Kay famously said: The best way to predict the future is to invent it and that’s why we are producing software. The future of text is also dependent on real dialog, which is why we have been hosting ‘ The Future of Text’ Symposium for over a decade. The symposium has resulted in the book series also called ‘ The Future Of Text ’.
The tools we develop are focused on the academic process of authoring and reading academic papers, from student homework to journal articles. To improve how we do this, we need to work together, so if you are attending or teaching at a university, we’d be happy to present the tools to your community.
