Dr Atis Elsts is a senior researcher at the Institute of Electronics and Computer Science (EDI). Atis is currently leading two research projects BCC (Body-Coupled Communication for Body Area Sensor Networks) and TIME-AMP (Technology for high-precision time-amplitude analysis of event flow), as well as a contract research project with Ackcio (Singapore) on low-power wireless networks. He has authored and co-authored more than 40 scientific publications, and has postdoctoral research experience in Uppsala Uni
Main research interests:
December 2022: Work is ongoing in preparation of the PRAESIIDIUM project, which will aim to develop a wearable device with biompendance capabilities. Funded from Horizon Europe, start date: 01.01.2023, coordinator: SPINDOX (Italy).
