At-Home Pet Care
At-Home Pet Care is a veterinary housecall service for pets located in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia. Dr. Ruth Chodrow can bring pet health care to the comfort of your home. Pets can be examined, vaccinated and treated for minor illnesses. She can also perform behavior consults, fecal exams, heartworm tests, ear cleanings and other procedures. Pets are often more relaxed and happy when they can be treated at home.
Dr. Chodrow graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University and obtained a Master of Science in zoology from the University of Massachusetts. She earned her V.M.D. degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary medicine. Dr. Chodrow is a member of the Blue Ridge Veterinary Medical Association, the D. C. Academy of Veterinary Medicine, and the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior. Her hobbies include calligraphy, needlework, and music. She is especially interested in animal welfa
