Description: ASIP seeks to establish transparent accountability of the reprographic royalty streams earned by American illustrators and the proper collective licensing of our works.
We urge all published illustrators to join the Artists Rights Society (ARS) and enter a global system to collect and receive reprographic royalties for secondary uses of your work.
American illustrators received reprographic royalty payments from secondary uses of their work overseas for the first time in January 2019. This success comes from 20+ years of effort by ASIP organizations.
ARS is a visual art collecting society and a member of CISAC — a global network of sister societies. The only requirement is that you must be a published US illustrator and you must apply for ARS membership directly. Membership is free.
