A “Factory PIN” allows you to set your own 6 digit code to start up your FUV without a key. And let me tell you, this is a pretty popular way to start a FUV.
When you purchase an FUV, it should come with a “Factory PIN” inside the paperwork. It looks something like this:
This doesn’t always happen or if you lose the PIN (mine was scribbled on a small piece of paper ripped from a pad), you can FIRST email Arcimoto via [email protected] with your VIN, name, phone, and address. If that doesn’t get a response within a working day or 2 (Fridays may not count), you can follow up with a phone call but have your ticket number assigned from your email handy.
