Previous Next Music Dr. Aparna is known to be the first and the only woman composer in Assam, approved by All India Radio, Guwahati. Over the years, she has created a niche for herself in composing songs largely based on the Hindustani Classical Ragas and folk tunes of the state.
Dr. Aparna has published a total of ten books which are a collection of academic, scientific books, and short stories which are largely non fictional, inspired by the everyday socio-culutral and political dynamics in the society.
