She has contributed to NPR , StoryCorps , Love + Radio , Snap Judgment Presents: Spooked , InStyle , New York Magazine , Chicago Magazine , and many other outlets. Her writing has won awards from the Association of Alternative Newsweeklies and the North American Travel Journalists Association, and her Love + Radio episode “The Boys Will Work It Out” was named one of 10 “must-listen podcast episodes of the decade” by Salon .
