Welcome to Anna Lena's. I'm Karen Snyder. For years I had a quilt shop in Long Beach, Washington, I designed fabric and wrote quilting books and patterns and taught and lectured about quilting. Late in 2013, I bought a house in Sweden and retired! Well, almost retired. I still have the occasional quilt design in a magazine and lecture and teach when my schedule allows. It's a great life!

I love to do presentations to guilds and groups, and my lectures cover a range of quilting subjects, from The Great Mill Girl Experiment (a history of the textile industry in America) to Quilts of the Depression Era to Those Fabulous Fat Quarters.
