Andrew Varley was born and lives in Southsea, Hampshire with his wife Sue and their two daughters. He began to take a keen interest in playing the electronic organ at the age of thirteen. In those early years he received great help from his father and was given great encouragement by the late well known theatre organist, Eric Lord. However he is mainly self-taught.
