Description: My website provides details of my work with mental health including research, teaching, campaigning and professional work. In addition to general mental health, the website exolres my specific work with perinatal mental health, father’s mental health and young people’s mental health.
I am an academic psychologist at Bournemouth University , specialising in mental health , particularly in the perinatal period (for mothers , fathers and their families) My work includes education and research . I have published several papers on mental health.
I campaign with the aim of improving mental health services. I serve on several local and national advisory groups for maternal mental illness. I represent mental health charities and other key organisations across Dorset, including Dorset Mind , Samaritans (Bournemouth & District) and DorPIP .
