I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker specializing in helping people who want to improve their life and relationships. I work with individuals, couples and families experiencing problems and seeking change.
The process of change will be unique to your situation and will begin by defining your problem, discussing your thoughts and feelings, understanding the origin of the difficulty and developing new skills to address and manage painful emotions, and resolve depression and anxiety. Who you are as a person will help to determine the ways in which you will change your life.
I view psychotherapy as a collaborative process in which you and I work together to gain greater insight and understanding into what is working and not working in your life. It is through this awareness that I believe change will begin.
