Hello, I am Doug Jones, Ceramic Artist. In our island pottery studio, we employ a variety of methods to achieve the finished piece - ie: pottery wheel, slab construction and sculpture. I changed the name of our studio from Jones Pottery to Amelia Island Pottery in order to better reflect our environment and the style of my work. After working with me for a few years after my wife's passing, my son Chris, a talented potter in his own right, continues to carry on the family tradition with the Jones Pottery name.
