I am excited to reveal a lake house renovation that was recently completed this late spring. My clients home was beautiful to begin with, but they were looking for an update from dark and drab to light and fab! The bones of the interior were just fine, and what I liked about this renovation was that it was all about modifying the existing features. And the use of paint was one of the most powerful materials used, as you will see in the before and afters.
The whole first floor was renovated. We painted all interior walls a creamy white, (Sherwin Williams West Highland White – because I know some of you will want to know the color 🙂 ) added new hardwoods throughout in a light white oak, replaced the old granite counters with new quartz, replaced old floor tiles in laundry, sunroom and master bath with new updated tile, replaced all the lighting and added more can lighting to living room area.
