I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology at George Mason University. I was a 2020 Woodrow Wilson Career Enhancement Fellow, and a 2020 African American Digital Humanities Scholar at the University of Maryland-College Park. I am a recipient of the National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Stipend for 2022.
