Sadat City factory is specialized in the production of high quality fine counts (between NE 16 and NE 120) Combed and Combed compact made from Egyptian and American cotton yarn which is required for fine quality shirts, bed sheets and dresses. The factory production is almost entirely directed to the export markets with key customers located in Italy, France, Turkey, Portugal, USA, Germany, Spain and Latvia.
The company’s main raw material is raw cotton, it relies on Egyptian cotton Giza 86, 88 and 92 sourced locally, as well as American cotton Pima and Ultima,Few years ago Almatex started securing its cotton needs through another Alkan group company. This change rendered the company more control over its raw material procurement in terms of quality.
Alexandria factory was founded in 1988 at the public free zone area in Amria. This mill is specialized in the production of regenerated yarn (Course counts) between NE 3/1 and NE 20/1 blended with human -made fibers or 100% cotton for local and international markets.
