The colleagues at the DDGLC project in Berlin (Freie Universität) are looking for a research assistant to help them with the production of their online database and dictionary of Greek loanwords in Coptic. See the announcement below.
The DDGLC is a long-term project funded by the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft and hosted by the Freie Universität Berlin. The project aims at a systematic, comprehensive and detailed lexicographical compilation and description of Greek loanwords as attested in the entire Coptic corpus through all dialects and sorts of text. Its intended outcome shall be the production of an online searchable database and of a dictionary.
Job description : • Loanword lexicography of coptic texts: tagging, lemmatization, grammatical analysis and translation of greek words in coptic texts • minor tasks in project administration
