We have developed The Alders on historic parkland on a working farm so that our visitors can enjoy the peace and tranquility of the Yorkshire countryside. Throughout the season (24 Mar to 31 Oct) you will enjoy the farming year and the gentle passing of time.
The Alders and Whiteley's at Home Farm offers visitors an opportunity to relax and unwind away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our woodland, water meadow with wild flowers and animals, and woodland walks all combine to offer the discerning and nature loving visitor an idyllic environment in which to stay.
Home Farm is a working arable and livestock farm . Aberdeen Angus beef cattle and Texel/Mule cross sheep graze the fields around the Park. We sell all our own beef and lamb in our Farm Shop in addition to our free range eggs.
