The Robert Ames Alden Theatre (The Alden) is named after the former Washington Post editor and community organizer, “Bob” Alden, who along with many members of the Greater McLean, Va community, made it possible. A division of the McLean Community Center ( MCC ), The Alden was part of the original concept for MCC , which was approved through a bond referendum in 1970.
