Akademihotellet is a small, charming hotel with a great location in the heart of Uppsala’s historic quarter, between the castle and cathedral. A perfect stay for both business and pleasure.
Our cozy hotel rooms offer charm and interior details from the 1930s when the house was built, with views facing the Pelle Svanslös’ (a famous Swedish literary character) neighborhood and towards our back yard and the Uppsala cathedral. In many of our rooms, you will find out more of Uppsala´s history and its historical profiles. We call them Rooms with history .
In addition to our 43 hotel rooms, including one furnished apartment for long stay rental, we offer meeting and conference rooms for up to 50 people. We also have a sauna with showers and a small relaxation area with a workout space.
