Born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Ahzad Bogosian holds both BFA and MFA degrees from Fontbonne University and was enrolled in the MFA program at Washington University.
Currently, he teaches painting and drawing as an adjunct at Webster University. Bogosian also teaches at St. Louis Community College@Forest Park. He’s exhibited his work in New York, Washington D.C., San Francisco, Memphis, Boulder, Austin, and extensively throughout the Midwest, St. Louis, Chicago, and Milwaukee.
Bogosian's paintings are placed in numerous corporate, private, and public collections across the country, including the U.S. Embassy in Washington, D.C., MasterCard, New York, Washington University School of Medicine, City of Chicago, Wells Fargo-St. Louis, St. Louis University, and the Margaret Harwell Art Museum in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. In addition, his work is in many publications, including New American Paintings and John Driscoll’s 1998 book, The Artist and The American Landscape.
