AHPRA and Regulatory Boards Defence
This page provides some strategies and information for protecting yourself and your patients from the crazy and excessive actions of AHPRA and the regulatory boards. It applies to the NSW system as well, although there are some additional considerations in NSW.
I have been dealing with some of the people at AHPRA for more than 20 years, and they are amongst the vilest, most dishonest sociopaths that I have ever encountered in a long, busy and varied life. These people are nasty, incompetent bullies who have no respect for the law, legislation or registrants, despite the enormous efforts we put into our work. The only way I have ever been able to force AHPRA or the boards to act fairly is by taking them to court and having a judge order them to do the right thing.
