When I paint, I return to a place that exists beyond words, beyond the analytical. Here, I inhabit childlike wonder and sensations of dreaming. I connect with landscapes familiar, remembered, and imagined. I experience the grounding of earth, the healing of water, the magic of light as it changes day to night. I am Elemental. I am timeless. Here, I exist on that fine line between the tangible and intangible, experiencing what I can only express with layers of paint.
