Adrian De Leon is a writer and public historian, and the author of several books: Bundok: A Hinterland History of Filipino America (forthcoming 2023), barangay: an offshore poem (2021), and Rouge (2018). His current project, Balikbayan: The Invention of the FIlipino Homeland , is under contract with the University of Washington Press.
In partnership with the Center for Asian American Media and Plum Studios , De Leon is a writer and co-host for PBS Digital Studios. He has worked on A People’s History of Asian America (2021) and Historian’s Take (2022), which was nominated for an NAACP Image Award and a Daytime Emmy.
