My background has mainly always been in the field of beauty, skincare, makeup and fragrance. I began my beauty therapy journey back in 1980 working and learning on the job from an established beauty salon in Epsom, Auckland. In 1983 I worked for and was trained as a Beauty Therapist at the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Salon which was situated in those days on the 1st floor of the Smith and Caughey building in Queen Street, Auckland, where I worked for two years.
